34 | Called to Grow & Free to Laugh - Walking in your Calling

In this episode, Wally and Stephanie Baird join us at the table, and they encourage us to keep walking, growing, and laughing through whatever season of life you find yourself in today.  As we walk in our calling and our true identity, it is clear that God gives ample opportunity to LOVE others like JESUS has loved us.  Wally and Stephanie Baird are a dynamic duo who love each other, love the Lord, Love their families, and they are making a great impact on both students and educators every single day.  Both Wally and Stephanie serve and lead in our local school districts, right here in the low country of South Carolina. What a powerful testimony they share, as they walk out their calling to serve and lead children, teachers, and families in the community. They both describe their current roles in this season of their profession, as" an honor and a privilege" that they have been given, to pour into the next generation. Their calling, like each of ours, is a reminder -- to LOVE others first. We hope you are encouraged today to keep walking in your calling, and to be intentional as you see the opportunities God gives you to show the Love of Christ, as you go about your everyday rhythms and routines. 33 | Walking in your "YOU"-nique Calling

In this episode we introduce the season topic of Walking in your calling and your true identity.  We are so thankful that the body of Christ is made up of so many unique individuals that come together to make up the wholeness of the Church.  When we support one another and the uniqueness of each other, we experience strong community. 
Do you know God's calling on your life? Do you know what HE calls you?  This season we hope and pray that as we seek to know Him more, He is going to continue to confirm in each of us that He is calling us by name, and He is equipping us to GO, as we walk in our true identity.

32 | Called & Equipped to Walk in Freedom

In this episode, we share stories from scripture that have challenged and encouraged us to Press on towards our own freedom in Christ. Like many people in the bible, it's our messy and difficult pasts that God uses to bring glory to himself and grow us in our faith, so that we too, can press on and stay focused on Him, along the way.
God wastes nothing on our journey to freedom, and as we walk with the Lord -- He continues to lead, guide, and direct our steps into our true identity and calling he has for each of us.  We can trust that when He calls, He will also equip us.  David, the youngest son of Jesse, was a man after God's own heart, and when he operated in his identity, we see that he was truly successful for the Lord. Simon's name was changed to Peter, meaning "Rock", a foundation upon which Christ would use his life to build His church.  God has equipped each of us, his children, for a unique call and purpose, and we pray you are encouraged to keep walking with Him as He reveals new ways and strategies to reach this world with His gospel truth. Where He leads we will Go, and where we go, He has already prepared the way!

31 | Are you Ready for a RESET?

Have you ever just wanted a "DO OVER" in this life?  The truth is we don't live in a fantasy world where do overs magically make all the wrongs of this life right. Thankfully though, because of the redemptive love and power of Jesus Christ, we are given an amazing opportunity to choose to RESET our lives aimed at Freedom in Him. In this episode, Erik Shamblin shares a personal testimony of God's grace and mercy in his life. Erik reminds us to be aware of our God given strengths, but also the weaknesses we may be struggling with. The enemy is always on the prowl, and his ultimate goal is to steal, kill, and destroy anywhere he can get a foothold. In Psalm 51 King David cries out for mercy to God. It is a great reminder of just how important confession and repentance are in our hearts and lives as well.  Jesus came so that we can live a life of abundance and freedom. Are you ready for a RESET? It is our prayer that you may know the TRUTH, and the truth will set you free.

30 | Pressing On Toward the GOAL

In this episode, Pastor Eric Lethco joins us at the table to share some practical advice for us as we press on towards freedom in Christ, even though we may still be walking with hurts and scars from our past. He reminds us that a root of bitterness will continue to feed brokenness, but a root of forgiveness will help us move toward the freedom found in Christ. Learning to take our thoughts captive and choosing to partner with the truth of God's word rather than the lies of the enemy can help each of us to walk in hope, healing, and freedom today.

29 | A Warrior on The Waves - God Wastes Nothing!

In this episode, our producer and friend, Adriana Melendez shares a personal story from her past that involves a season of depression and self harm.  It is a powerful testimony and reminder to each of us that God wastes nothing, not one single thing that the enemy wants to use for evil. The hurts and pains from our past can always be turned around for good if we allow God the opportunity to do so. God continues to use the scars of her past to point others toward the healing and redeeming love she has experienced in Christ. Adriana is a warrior for the Lord and she uses her platform to share the Love of Jesus over the sound waves any chance she gets. We pray you are encouraged to take the next steps towards your own freedom. Maybe that looks like reaching out for help, or by making a public decision to follow Christ for the first time, or by sharing your own story of freedom with someone in need of some encouragement today. We were not created to walk alone and we are so thankful to be walking with you today.

28 | Depression Will Not Define Me

Cindy shares about a difficult season of depression she experienced in her own life years ago. If you have ever experienced a dark season of depression, we know it can seem overwhelming.
